Rival Powered is one of the world’s leading online casino game developers. With more than 20 years in the iGaming market, the company is taking its first steps in the emerging Brazilian market. We spoke to the company’s CEO, Glen Bullen, who told us about the brand’s strategies for LatAm and Brazil.

Rival Powered offers games in 33 languages. What’s the standout title, and how does the new game development process work? Are there any regional differences?

We’ve released many standout titles over the past 20 years – in fact, some of our original games, such as Bigger Cash Win and Mythic Wolf, continue as strong performers to this day! But our current games are really smashing it, with a number of top performers released in the past six months. And these are proving to resonate with players in markets around the world. Take a look at Ca$hablanca, Bigfoot Fortunes and our 20th Anniversary game Metal Detector: Mayan Magic, an updating to our very first game! From ‘old school’ players to brand new markets, Rival have games that will work very well for them.

As a global leader in B2B casino gaming, what sets Rival Powered apart from other providers in the industry?

Experience. Rival have been developing online casino games for over 20 years and delivering them to partners in both established and new markets across the globe. We know what works! But we also don’t rest on our laurels and are constantly striving to develop new and innovative games, as well as adapt to new market requirements and player demands. Twenty years’ experience combined with a hugely dedicated and driven team makes for an unbeatable combination for both well-established and brand new partners, no matter what market they are in.

How long has Rival Powered been in Brazil, and what are your observations on the Brazilian casino gaming market?

We are very new to the market, with SiGMA LatAm last month being our first foray into the region. But the response we received there was very positive, so we know this will be a very important new market for us going forward. In Brazil we have seen continued growth through advertising and other means on the sports book side for a number of years now and this will only tip over on to the casino side like we have seen in other markets. Brazil presents a perfect opportunity for us to deliver our proven portfolio into a new market, and to work with both well-established and brand new partners there.

With the Latin American market on the rise, how does Rival Powered plan to expand its presence in the region?

Directly, we will be exhibiting at all of the upcoming regional gaming shows to ‘fly our flag’ and continue to grow brand recognition across the region. Indirectly, we are partnering with a number of leading platforms that are already well established in the region – such as Alea, EveryMatrix, Vivo, BetB2B and QTech Games amongst a number of others – to leverage their aggregation models and distribute our games as widely as possible.

Which betting site brands does Rival Powered collaborate with, and can the games be tailored to each partner?

Rival deliver games to several hundred operators, and many are now focusing their attention on the region – and demand is high. We are confident we will be very well-established across the region within the coming months and years. We are also securing new, local, partnerships from our debut in Sao Paulo. As for tailoring content; absolutely, our games can be tailored to the specific requirements of each market, and each partner – it’s an attention to detail and partner support Rival have always been very proud to deliver.
